During the 2011 Habanos Festival we had the chance of tasting a real bunch of cigars that were supposed to be released to the international markets throughout 2011 - but so far none of the new Havana cigars reached the importers warehouses. But, there is hope.

A milder blended Hoyo sized 46 by 135mm will soon be released. The first of the 2011 Limited Edition Havanas comes in boxes of 10 cigars and is dedicated to those cigar enthusiasts enjoying a lighter, milder blended cigar. I thought we will never see these again as in recent past all I saw was like 50+ rings with full bodied blends. I absolutley enjoy the occasional mild Havana - especially during day time. The fine and elegant flavours dont stress my palate too much but provide pure smoking pleasure. So, this is not one of these macho sticks some markets adore so much (never mind, there is something in the pipeline for them as well called Cohiba 1966)
